Help me somebody help! cause im fuckin fallin' down again!

Kill Your Idols was a hardcore punk band from Long Island. They were influenced by bands such as: Black Flag,The Descendents, Poison Idea, Negative Approach. The band started in 1995 and ended in 2007. Many say Kill Your Idols are one of the best bands to ever hit the hardcore punk scene and i agree. Kill Your Idols official last show was shut down by the feds, for having to many people in the venue. So they moved the show to the parking lot of a Long Island rehearsal studio.

I know where I stand. Wear my heart on my sleeve.

Floorpunch came straight out of New Jerusalem during the late 90's as part of the revival of Youth Crew hardcore, playing alongside bands such as In My Eyes and Fastbreak.

Depressions got a hold of me

Title of this pretty much sums up this post. This is obviously a post about black flag. the flag formed in 76 in L.A. They broke up in 86. They had i believe four different singers the first being: Keith Morris who went on to form the infamous Circle jerks. After Morris was Ron Reyes. After Reyes was Dez. Dez would later switch to playing second guitar in 81 after they found their fourth and final singer Henry Rollins from D.C. the former singer of the D.C. band S.O.A

So for your listening pleasure here is Damaged by Black Flag.

We all know and love this band.... the glorious BAD BRAINS! They are regarded as one of, if not the greatest punk hardcore bands of all times. Their self-titled record is one of the best records of all times. Well, here it is for you! The Brains are still alive an kicking. They aren't as electrifying as they used to be back in the '80s. But they are still putting on shows so check them out!

first post

This is a blog about a few things mainly:hardcore-punk and rap.

For the first post i'd like to bring it back to the 80's! This video is by a band many of you may know and love... YOUTH OF TODAY! Youth of Today was a straight-edge hardcore band formed in 1985 by singer Ray Cappo and guitarist Porcell. Porcell not only played guitar for YoT but for other straight edge power house bands of the 80's such as- Judge, Bold, and Gorilla Biscuits. He was also the singer for the band Project X.
