Poison Idea

So haven't posted in a while...... Mosh. Go check out my friends in Myspace.com/xripitupx. They're going on tour soon should be rad. So I've seen some pretty rad shows lately. I saw Tragedy and Blacklisted play together. Tragedy is the loudest band I've ever seen. They played with such and intensity and ferocity, never speaking between songs just spitting out the names. Saw Punch(who fucking rule) both friday and saturday.
The show Friday kinda sucked cause all the bands but Punch and Nomos sucked. Saturdays show was amazing. Relics,
The Seperation and the other bands killed it!

For your listening pleasure heres Poison Idea's "Pick Your King".

Poison Idea was formed in 1980 by vocalist Jerry A. (aka Jerry Lang). The initial lineup consisted of Jerry A., Tom “Pig Champion” Roberts (guitar), Glen Estes (bass), and Dean Johnson (drums). Inspired by Black Flag and other early Southern California hardcore acts, they were further influenced by Discharge and Los Angeles’s the Germs. Germs singer Darby Crash was a strong influence on singer Jerry A.—vocally, lyrically, and philosophically—was monumental, and Poison Idea followed the Germs’ extremist punk ethic.

This is one of the best hardcore punk bands you'll ever hear. Their 1983 "Pick Your King" release is one of the best records of all time. So enjoy it.
