Iron Age is a really rad Hardcore band from Austin Texas including members of Far From Breaking. In the vein of Leeway, Cro-Mags and other early 90’s crossover. They released their first demo tape on vocalist Tarpey’s Next Level label and followed with the full-length “Constant Struggle” on Youngblood Records, and the “Butcher’s Bill” 7” on Lockin Out Records, all in 2006. 2008 saw the release of the very garagy sounding “Burden Of Empire” 7”, self released by the band, the “The Way Is Narrow” tape once again on Next Level and the 7” version on Painkiller Records. The new full length “The Sleeping Eye” goes on sale May 11th, and will be put out by the new label Cyclopean Records first as a 2xLP gatefold record.
