Charged... G.B.H.

This band came out of england in the early 80's and helped to lead the hardcore punk movement across the Atlantic. The band's name was originally just GBH (Grievous Bodily Harm) until they found out that another band had already taken that name. Spontaneously they added "Charged" their title to make it their own. The band has had great success in and out of the British Isle's, traveling on several occasions to other countries to tour. While many of the early british punk band's crossed over to the post-punk genre in the late 80's, GBH held true to their roots. Incorporating some metal riffs to their genuine punk rock sound. The band still tours, despite rumors of a break up, with a strong following in England and other parts of the world.
